Bangladesh U23 national team is going to Qatar for a 10-day rigorous training camp ahead of the AFC U23 Championship qualifiers.

BG 025 flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the players and team staff left Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka for Qatar at 5:15pm on Monday.

Matches of Group B of AFC qualifiers will be held from March 22-26 in Bahrain.

Bangladesh will be competing against Palestine, Sri Lanka and hosts Bahrain in Group B.

In order to prepare the team for the international competition, team Bangladesh will take part in training camp from March 11 to 20 at Qatar.

BFF Executive Committee member Satyajit Das Rupu has been appointed as the manager of the team.

The U23 squad was announced on Sunday.
