Dhaka: The Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 will kick off on January 30, 2019 with 11 teams participating in the tournament.
The player drafting for the championship will take place from January 5-20 next year.
The decisions were taken at a meeting between representatives of the 11 teams with the Professional Football League Committee at the BFF Board Room in Dhaka’s Motijheel.
Committee deputy chairman Abdur Rahim presided over the meeting.
The committee has also decided that a U-17 competition named ‘Youth Football Tournament’ will take place within the participating teams of BCL 2018 after the league ends.
