BFF AFC B Certificate Coaching Course begins

Dhaka: The second AFC B Certificate Coaching Course organized by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has begun with a view to upgrading the credentials of the C certificate coaches to next level.

The first phase of the second BFF AFC Coaching course begun on Wednesday, October 10 at the BFF House.

The first phase will continue till October 19.

A total of 24 coaches from across the country are taking part in the course.

As always, National Technical and Strategic Director Paul Thomas Smalley is at the helm of the course coordination and training.

The candidates include a number of former national team players, current local coaches and distinguished football stakeholders.

The course has been designed in line with the new concept introduced by AFC, the ‘Coaching Convention’.

The candidates, who already hold the BFF/AFC C Certificate, will undertake a range of football theoretical and practical tasks, practical coaching planning, delivery and evaluation, football group work, tactical research tasks and interim course tasks.

The course is divided into two parts and only after the end of both phases, the candidates will undergo evaluation and will be certified accordingly.
