Gopalganj: Saif Sporting Club Limited beat hosts Muktijoddha Sangshad KC 2-0 at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium, Gopalganj on Friday.

In the Round 13 clash of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League 2018-19, mid-table Muktijoddha fought toe to toe with visiting Saif in the first half.

However, two quick strikes within seven minutes after the restart saw Saif pick up their seventh victory of the season.

Denis broke the deadlock in the 48^th minute and then Rahim sealed the victory with another goal in the 52^nd minute.

With the win, Saif stay at the 4^th position in the table but close the gap with third placed Sheikh Russel to just one point.

On the other hand, Muktijoddha stay at the sixth position with 15 points from 12 matches.
