Sheikh Russel Sporting Club Limited picked up an important victory in the ongoing BPL 2018-19 by beating Brothers Union Limited 3-1 at the Sylhet District Stadium on Thursday evening.
Valeri broke the deadlock for Russel in the 38th minute.
Then in the second half, Odoyin scored in the 48th and 78th minute to ensure Sheikh Russel’s victory.
The goal Minhazul scored in the 82nd minute was nothing but a consolation.
The win sees Sheikh Russel stay third on the BPL table with 33 points from 14 games.
Brothers, on the other hand, are 12th with 8 points from 13 games and are at risk of being relegated.
